Summer Student Employment Opportunity

We are currently looking for 2 caring and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the summer!

These positions are partially funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Program and are geared towards youth and students. This is a wonderful opportunity for university students to earn some extra cash and have fun!

Applicants must be available between June 15th and August 26th, 2022 and must be available to work varying shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday to Friday.

We aim to provide an educational and fun filled summer for the children in our centre. Summer students work along-side our regular full time staff assisting with daily routines (learning centres, health and hygiene, meal times, rest time etc), daily programming, field trips and special event days.

Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are certainly an asset to these positions.

Successful applicants will require a criminal record check in the vulnerable sector.

Preference will be given to those applicants with some prior experience working with children or those who are studying Early Childhood Education, Education or Child Development. Preference will also be given to those holding a current First Aid/CPR certificate.
